We, the 5th grade teachers, have also found it less cumbersome and time consuming for the children when they do not bring their book bags with them while they are changing classes in the hall. It is highly recommended that children bring to school with them a cloth or plastic bag with handles. Children can then put the books they will need when they change classes in these bags and reduce the chances of them falling or getting lost.
This bag does not take the place of a book bag. Children will still need a book bag to carry their books to and from school.
