DISMISSAL TIME FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR 2010-2011
FOR GRADES 6, 7, and 8

Dear Parents and Guardians,
My second grade teacher, Sister Loretta, a Sister of Notre Dame da Namur, taught us a little expression that has remained with me all my life: we plan, God laughs!
I certainly have heard God laughing these past few weeks as we are getting closer to finalizing our plans for next year.
Because of too many conflicting schedules, Mr. Donovan and I feel it is best to set dismissal time to 3:00p.m. for grades 6, 7, and 8 for the September 2010 school year.
Taking into account many of our students involvement in sports, extra curricular activities, and after school educational enrichment programs, as well as schedule conflicts here with in the school, it is not feasible to alter the dismissal for these middle school grades.
Once we finalize which subjects will be taught by our teachers, we will inform you.
Contracts are just being formulated and we are working hard on many budgeting issues.
I hope this does not cause you any unnecessary stress as you might have planned for the later dismissal time.
Our After School Program will be open until 7:00p.m. for next year. We hope this will better accommodate those who need it most.
