First Grade Student Supply List September 2011
Parents must provide their child with:
- 3 folders (2 will be kept in school)
- 1 homework pad (with lines and must fit inside a folder)
- 1 large glue stick (no other kind of glue allowed)
- 1 box of crayons (16 per box – no larger)
- 4 sharpened pencils every day (no sharpeners allowed; please sharpen at home; no mechanical pencils)
- a soft, zippered pencil case (no plastic boxes allowed)
- schoolbag with shoulder straps (1st graders do not use bags with wheels for safety concerns on the stairs)
- lunch in a sturdy lunchbox
- 1 box of tissues
These items must be replaced throughout the year when they are used up or lost. School will not be providing these items to the children.
In addition, every SJA parent is required to purchase 2 reams (a pack of 500 sheets) of white 8 ½ x 11 copy paper per student.
*First Grade teachers will provide all notebooks.
