Third Grade - Class Supply List
Dear Future Third Grader,
It’s time to enjoy your summer, and also prepare for next year! Here is a list of supplies that will you need to have with you every day. Please have all of your supplies in class by the first day of school. Also be sure to put your name on everything you can to eliminate any confusion.
- (1) book bag with NO WHEELS for safety concerns on the stairs
- (1) glue stick
- (2) large erasers
- (1) box of crayons or color pencils
- (4) marble composition notebooks
- (1) small soft pencil case to hold your supplies
- (2) strong folders (2 pockets)
- (2) highlighters (different colors)
- (1) ruler with inches and centimeters
- (1) chapter book to read everyday (This is a MUST)
- (6 or more) sharpened #2 pencils (Please keep all sharpened pencils
in your pencil case at all time. Keep extra sharpened pencils at
home since they get used, broken, and lost during the day.)
- About 20 sheets of loose leaf to be kept in folder at all times
- (3) BIG boxes of tissues
- (1) roll of paper towels
- 2 ream of white copy paper
- An index card with the following information:
a. Child’s name and date of birth
b. Address and phone number
c. Name of legal guardians
Supplies will be checked on a regular basis throughout the school year. Failure to have your full supplies will result in a deducted class work grade. We can’t work if you are not prepared! We hope that you have a wonderful summer and return rested and ready to learn in September.
